Spiritual/ Emotional Support
While our Bereavement Program generally provides support after a loss occurs, Sutter VNA & Hospice has a staff of professional Chaplains and Medical Social Workers who assist with grief and other issues that arise usually prior to the loss. Our Chaplains have specialized training in Pastoral Care that includes effective emotional support and both religious and non-religious care of the spirit. Our Social Workers have specialized training in Psycho-social Care that enables them to provide excellent emotional support.
