    School-Based Grief Groups

Children grieve somewhat differently than adults, so they benefit from the specialized support of a bereavement counselor skilled at working with children, and the opportunity to interact with other children who have experienced the death of a loved one. Sutter Care at Home is offering to facilitate a grief education and support group at your site for students between the ages of 6 and 18 years old. Children may be referred to the group through school personnel, family, or the community. For more information, please call (707) 535-5780.
